If you file a change of address form, print off/or save on the drive a copy of the confirmation!!
If you are not sure that the notary/preparer filed your paperwork CHECK as soon as you think of it.
Make sure to keep up with the notary, or whoever is preparing your documents.
If the notary/preparer is becoming unresponsive, and you cannot reach them, check if your documents were filed, if not get someone else to do it, do not just wait around.
